Digital Fashion in the MetaVerse

Our professions are more than just jobs, our domain expertise form the prism trough witch we see and evaluate the world. Lawyers have law, poets have words, I have fashion. Fashion is not simply what I chose to do with my life, it is my calling, my curiosity, my passion and my world view.

When I see a dress I don’t see a piece of clothing, I see the 2000 years of evolution that have gotten us to this point of time where we collectively, as a society place value is in certain ideas and nerratives. fashion is the visual representation of what we value as society and what is the only way to evaluate the validity of certain trends. It might appear mysterious, but it is easy to quantify it when to stat framing it as a mirror of societal change.

I see the pattern, the textile, the tread that makes it all possible. I evaluate the complexity of the engendering, weather it is cut on bias to make the fabric flow, whether it is an innovative drape or cut from the basic bodied block. I assess the level of garment technology, weather every seam is pressed with iron after sewing and what amount of careful consideration was invested in the finishes. I asset the composition of the fabric it is crafted from and how that influence the wearer. This is how I see the world trough fashion: decoding million little decisions that made up the final product.

Switching from design to technology instilled humility and empathy in me, tough me to approach the any subject with analytical curiosity rather than ideological hubris. This allows me to translate between fashion and technology and to always tackle explaining complex subjects in simple matter, tailored to the level of expertise of my audience, rather than my own.
